Anyare? Kiko Pangilinan questions how pork scam queen Napoles can become a state witness
Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on Wednesday (May 10) denounced reported plans by the government to turn Janet Lim Napoles into a state witness in the continuing litigation of the pork barrel scam case.
Turning an alleged mastermind in the case to become a state witness is incomprehensible, the senator said.
I think this is legally questionable. Pangilinan added.
Talk of Napoles possibly becoming a state witness surfaced after the Court of Appeals acquitted her in the illegal detention case filed by her cousin and former aide, Benhur Luy.
Should plans to turn Napoles into a state witness push through, the senator said it is likely she will only fabricate her testimony to save her own skin.
Hindi tama ‘yan,” he said.
