Anyare? SWS poll shows drop in Duterte’s net satisfaction rating
Public satisfaction with and trust in President Duterte have dropped significantly based on a latest survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The survey found 67% of 1,500 respondents satisfied, 14% undecided, and 19% dissatisfied with the President’s performance.
The President’s net trust rating was also placed at +60 “very good,” a 15-point decline from June’s +75 “excellent.”
The poll found 73% of Filipinos with much trust, 15% undecided, and 12% with little trust in Duterte.
By area, the President’s net satisfaction rating fell by 30 points in the Visayas, 22 points in Balance Luzon, and 19 points in Metro Manila. His net rating stayed excellent in Mindanao at +76 in the September poll.
Duterte’s urban net satisfaction score also fell from +68 very good to +48 good. Rural net satisfaction also decreased from +63 very good to +47 good.
The President’s net satisfaction rating stayed very good in class ABC at +57in September 2017, from +59 in June 2017.
The survey had sampling error margins of ±2.5% for national percentages.
