Asenso! Zubiri wealth up P30M from 2016

Senator Migz Zubiri’s is the biggest earner among his peers at the upper chamber, with his net worth shooting up by P30 million as of December 2017, according to his latest statement of assets, liabilities and net worth.
Zubiri’s net worth climbed up by to around P152 million as of last year from about P122 million in 2016.
The chair of the Senate committees on cooperatives and trade, commerce and entrepreneurship gets most of his wealth from shares in stocks from 21 companies, including ABS-CBN Holdings, Emperador, Inc., Metro Pacific Inc., SM Prime Holdings, where he has shares equal to around P98,000, P88,000, P148,000 and P130,000, respectively.
His largest share in a company is in Bukidnon Power Corporation, which is equivalent to approximately P54 million.
A new Toyota Fortuner (P1.4 million), proceeds of sale of a property in Base Camp, Caramag, Bukidnon (P25 million), and shares in Designa Italia Linea, Inc. (P450,000) contributed to Zubiri’s increase in net worth.
The spike in his net worth represents a 24.9 percent increase, which is lower than the 45.04 percent hike in Senator Francis Pangilinan’s net worth.
Pangilinan gained around P4.2 million last year, raising his net worth to about P13.5 million from approximately P9.3 million in 2016.
Adding to his net worth are an unspecified vehicles he purchased last year at P1.8 million and unspecified shares of stocks acquired last year at P500,000 and P1.7 million.
