Ayaw paawat! Mocha digs deeper into MPC, questions right to cover Duterte
Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson is training her sights on the Malacañang Press Corps (MPC) after it bucked her move to have a website put under her office’s control.
Uson on Wednesday (November 8) wrote Communications Secretary Martin Andanar and asked for documents related to the MPC’s existence.
In particular, Uson sought department or office orders related to MPC’s status and the rights and privileges of its members.
She also wanted to have copies of laws, executive orders or department orders on MPC’s right to cover the President.
Uson also asked Andanar for the MPC’s registration papers with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The former sexy starlet’s request came after MPC opposed her request to have the website Rappler removed from the organization and placed under her office’s supervision.
Uson argued that Rappler is a social media entity since it does not have a counterpart in the mainstream media.
