Ayaw sa ampon? Bong Go skips oath taking of ‘Anak ni Mar’ politikos
Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go may be willing to travel at the last minute to disaster scenes to be photographed helping victims, but he couldn’t be bothered to lend his presence to politikos who are all too willing to support his rumored senatorial bid.
Go was absent Thursday (May 17) at the oath taking of politikos who used to be collectively known as “Anak ni Mar” at Club Filipino in Greenhills.
Instead of Go, it was Communications Secretary Martin Andanar who administered the oath as PDP-Laban members to Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas, Santa Rosa, Laguna Mayor Danilo Fernandez and Quirino Rep. Dakila Carlo Cua.
All three politikos used to be members of the Liberal Party and actively supported former senator Mar Roxas when he campaigned for president in 2016.
The media invitation for the event stated that the oath taking will also mark the launch of Sulong ang Pag-unlad Movement (SAPM), a group pushing for Go’s candidacy.
