Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has issued an immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) against Lim’s nephew, David Lim Jr., who grabbed headlines recently as the the Cebu road rage suspect.
David surrendered to police before down Tuesday (March 21) after being identified as the person who shot nurse Ephraim Nunal during a traffic altercation Sunday morning (March 19) in Cebu City.
“Considering the gravity of the offense, there is a strong possibility that he may attempt to place himself beyond the reach of the legal processes of this Department by leaving the country,” Aguirre said in a memorandum issued to the BI.
“We thus deem the issuance of an ILBO against the subject… in order to at least monitor the itineraries of his flight, travel, and/or whereabouts,” the Secretary pointed out.
