Bantayan ang LPG! Duterte tells what will be gone at home once a person becomes a drug addict
President Rodrigo Duterte has advised families to look after their appliances and furniture if they suspect a relative to be hooked on illegal drugs.
In a speech in Malacañang Wednesday (December 5), Duterte said drug addicts will resort to crimes to fund their vice.
“Ang unang mawawala ninyo, as you all know by now, kasi may kilala kayo alam ko. Unang mawawala sa inyo gasul. Ay sus sigurado ‘yan. Tanungin niyo lang. Gasul, yung mga reserba, lahat electric fan, TV pati kotse,” he said during the awarding ceremonies of the 2017 Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities.
Duterte said that if a father becomes addicted to illegal drugs, he will no longer work, resulting in additional suffering for the family.
The President said that while he does not want to kill people, he also has a duty to protect Filipinos from the menace of illegal drugs.
“My duty is to preserve this nation and protect the people,” he said.
