Bato embarrassed by son’s failing marks at PNPA: Uwi ka na lang sa Davao!
Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has admitted that his son, Rock, is in danger of flunking at the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
In a press conference Thursday (March 22), Dela Rosa admitted that the pressure at the PNPA is different compared to an ordinary college or university.
“Sabi ko, ‘nakakahiya ka naman mag-removals ka eh degree holder ka na. Gumraduate ka na ng college prior to entering the academy,” he said.
Politiko reported that Rock needs to take a removal exam to pass his Communication Arts 2 class since he has a grade of 6.881.
Dela Rosa said his son will have no choice but to return to Davao City in case he’s kicked out of the PNPA due to low grades.
“Kung hindi ka makapasa the ma-dismiss ka then sorry, uwi ka sa Davao,” the PNP chief recalled telling Rock.
The younger Dela Rosa, who has an undergraduate degree in business administration, entered the PNPA in 2017 in hopes of becoming a cop.
