Bato-gan si Junior? Mon Tulfo chides Dela Rosa’s son for loafing around PNP academy
The welcome rites for the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 2021 last May may have been the only time the son of PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa underwent physical hardship during training.
Broadcaster Ramon Tulfo has revealed that Rock Dela Rosa is practically being given the special treatment at the PNPA.
“Rock’s upperclassmen, as well as his fellow plebes, are complaining that he is always under guard, doesn’t sleep in the barracks and goes out most nights,” he said in his December 5 column for the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Dela Rosa recently congratulated his son for supposedly surviving the rigors of training as a fourth class cadet at the PNPA, saying he was proud of him.
The younger Dela Rosa was caught on video undergoing initiation rites such as jogging through the field, and having his hair shaved, when he entered the PNPA.
Dela Rosa said at that time that he was apprehensive if his son could take the rigors of studying to become a policeman.
Ako, anak ako ng tricycle driver kaya no retreat, no surrender ako.
