Broken-hearted lady confronts Angara: Bakit walang batas para sa amin, walang Department of Love?
Senator Sonny Angara recently had a funny yet serious performance when dished out some love advice in a hilarious short film.
Angara tried to console a heartbroken lady, portrayed by Joyce Magcalas, in a film titled “PUSOMUCHSHIT Broken-Hearted Philippines” that was written and directed by Darryl Yap.
In the film posted on Facebook, the inconsolable woman paid a visit to Angara’s office and asked him about the lack of laws protecting the welfare of broken-hearted people.
She demanded benefits for heartbroken Filipinos such as discounts on fare, restaurants and medicines as well sick leave.
Mas may sakit kami! Mas disabled kami!” she said.
She also pressed for the creation of a Department of Love to handle love concerns of Filipinos. “Sabi nila love is all that matters…bakit hindi pagtuunan ng gobyerno? Bakit walang Department of Love?” she asked.
The lady’s love tirade was extremely amusing as Angara tried to keep a his composure throughout the short film.
In the end, Angara told the woman that there was no need to give benefits to people with broken hearts since they have to endure such anguish to learn and grow.
