So why call it #Lenileaks? Andanar claims VP isn’t leaked to ouster plot
Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said Malacanang never directly linked Vice President Leni Robredo in the alleged plot to oust or force President Duterte to resign.
In an interview by radio SuperRadyo DZBB, Andanar said only the reported supporters of Robredo and members of the Office of the Vice President had been mentioned as in ouster/resign efforts.
He said neither Robredo herself was mentioned nor did her email address surface in the documents and copies of the online discussions that were gathered and had been dubbed as the “LeniLeaks.”
“Wala namang nagsabi na kasama si Vice President doon, even doon sa pinagbasehan namin na blogger report, ay hindi naman namin—hindi ko naman narinig na sinabi na kasama si Vice President, pero sila nagsabi na kasama iyong Office of the Vice President,” Andanar said.
“Isang staff. Wala naman talaga iyong email ni Vice President, at wala naman siya doon sa conversation, doon sa may thread na… iyong thread na nakita nila, na di-nownload nila,” he added.
Andanar said efforts to determine the veracity of the documents and alleged plot and who are behind it is ongoing.
