DDS in disarray: Bruce Rivera slams Sass Sasot, Thinking Pinoy as politiko-paid hacks

Oct 9, 2017 @ 9:50

Bloggers affiliated with the DDS or the Duterte die-hard supporters no longer appear as solid as they once were.

Abogado Bruce Rivera has made some damning accusations against Sass Sasot, RJ Nieto of the Thinking Pinoy blog and their friends in a rant posted on his Facebook page Sunday (October 8).

For starters, Rivera slammed Sassot and her posse as paid hacks of certain politikos.

“Wag tayong magkunwaring para sa bayan kayo kasi sa totoo lang, magkaalaman na kung magkaalaman… ang masasabi ko sa sarili ko ay hindi ako bayad,” he said.

“Hindi ako binayaran ng kahit sinong tao, hindi ako binayaran ng kahit sinong politiko,” Rivera added.

The abogado chided Sassot for claiming to write “for the motherland” while choosing to stay in The Netherlands, while he faces critics head on in the Philippines.

Rivera said Sassot and his friends are pushing for the tandem of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano and Senator Grace Poe.

“Totoo naman na parang Cayetano-Grace Poe tandem ang team up eh,” he said.

Rivera hinted that Sassot and her friends are “protecting” certain politikos to improve their chances of winning in the 2019 and 2022 elections.

“Wala akong pulitikong binabakuran for 2019 and 2022. Wala,” he said.

Rivera said he cannot let Sassot and her friends get away with bullying fellow pro-Duterte bloggers such as MJ Quiambao-Reyes and Rocky Gonzales.

“You’re all bullies. Kaya ayaw ko sa inyo kasi you’re all bullies,” he said.

While Rivera did not mention who the bloggers allied with Sasot are, he said RJ Nieto of the pro-Duterte “Thinking Pinoy” blog got upset when he was accredited to cover an event for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Manila recently.

Rivera said Sassot and Nieto, a consultant at the DFA, saw his presence at the events as an encroachment of Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s turf.
