Di kasi gets: Robredo invites Bongbong to observe aid program to dispel ‘fake public service’ claim
Vice President Leni Robredo has invited her rival, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to observe the implementation of her anti-poverty program to prove it’s not a “pretentious program of governance,” as his camp had claimed.
Robredo said “Angat Buhay” is devoid of politics and open to anyone who wants to join.
“Siguro hindi niya naiintindihan ang programa,” the Vice President said of Marcos at the sidelines of her visit to a high school in Pampanga Thursday (June 8).
“Ang lahat ng tao dito imbitado to join. Baka gusto niya tingnan kung ano ang ginagawa namin. Kasi I’m sure kahit sinong tumingin, kung ano ginagawa namin, wala ditong politika,” she added.
Marcos’ spokesman, Vic Rodriguez, earlier took a potshot at Robredo as he expressed dismay at the Supreme Court’s decision to move the preliminary conference of his client’s poll protest to July 11.
“Every day of delay benefits the unauthentic occupant of the office discharging fake public service based on pretentious program of governance whose real objective is to oust President Duterte, no less,” Rodriguez said.
Instead of fueling discord, Robredo urged everyone to help one another and be united.
