‘Di nga? ‘Former papal security and Mocha’s ex’ wants to run for senator

A 39-year-old San Juan man claiming to have guarded Pope John Paul II and having had relations with former Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson wants to run for senator.
Agi Tuana, wearing a soiled red-and-white varsity jacket, was one of the many senatorial aspirants who trooped to the Commission on Elections office Thursday (October 11), but was not immediately able to file his certificate of candidacy as he was lacking documents.
If he gets elected, Tuana said he would lower prices of fuel and commodities, and would solve traffic congestion and crime.
Tuana showed media an ID which identifies him as a “security volunteer” during Pope John Paul II’s visit to the Philippines for the 1995 World Youth Day, but claimed that former President Fidel Ramos tasked him to guard the Pope.
He also said he had a “brief” relationship with Uson “a long time ago.”
“Sandali lang. Sandali lang kami, kasi parang prostitute siya nun,” Tuana said.
Tuana did not provide proof of his supposed relationship with Uson, herself rumored to be a senatorial candidate.
