Duterte on Dick’s desire to expel Sonny: ‘It might come’

President Rodrigo Duterte believes Senator Dick Gordon has a good chance of fulfilling his desire to kick out Senator Antonio Trillanes IV from the Senate due to bad behavior.

“O, kita mo ‘yun, gusto ni Gordon, i-expel siya. It might come because ‘yung behavior niya talaga,” said Duterte in an interview with reporters at the Libingan ng mga Bayani Mortuary, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City early Wednesday morning.

Gordon has made no secret of wanting to kick out Trillanes for his long history of bad behaviour in the Senate from browbeating the late General Angie Reyes to his verbal sparring with Senator Migz Zubiri to calling Dick’s committee a ‘comite de abswelto’ for being too protective of the President, his son and his son-in-law during the drug smuggling probe.

If Trillanes would be ejected from his seat, Duterte said the former Magdalo mutineer deserved it.
“Yan ang problema sa hindi abogado, tapos pa-bright-bright, pagalit-galit, pa-tapang-tapang,” said Duterte.
He said that if he too was elected as senator like Trillanes, he would have lost his seat in a flash because he could not control his mouth.

“Ako, ganun rin. Maybe. Kung ako rin ang nag-Senador, ma-expel rin, ‘yung bunganga minsan kasi, hindi ko ma — mapigilan. Ewan ko,” said Duterte.
