Duterte enjoys high trust, approval ratings despite dropping from A to E income groups
President Rodrigo Duterte’s trust and approval ratings for the last quarter of 2016 remained high at 83 percent despite a decline across all socioeconomic levels, according to the latest survey released by Pulse Asia.
With an error margin of ± 3 percent, poll results showed Duterte’s trust and approval ratings practically remained unchanged from the 86 percent he posted in September.
Despite enjoying high ratings, a closer scrutiny of poll results showed Class ABC’s trust and approval in Duterte declined by 13 points.
A dip of 2 points was also noted in Class D and 3 points in Class E.
Pulse Asia said results of the survey showed “most Filipinos remain appreciative of the work done by President Rodrigo R. Duterte” despite the controversies surrounding him and his administration.
