Duterte to give homes to wounded soldiers: Tumutulong nga tayo sa NPA, kayo pa!
President Rodrigo Duterte has promised to give wounded soldiers housing units somewhere near Metro Manila.
In his speech at the launch of a livelihood program for soldiers Tuesday (November 7), Duterte said the houses that will be received by the wounded military personnel will be spacious and bigger than what has been given to them in the past.
“Lahat ‘yung mga sundalo na ganun ang sitwasyon ninyo, pati ‘yung wounded recuperating, ‘yung parang convalescence. I have ordered a village somewhere near Metro Manila para easy access lang. Kung maaari lang diyan sa likod-likod,” he said.
Duterte said he will make housing for wounded soldiers a priority, even as he also expressed the desire to give them livelihood.
“In the meantime, bigyan ko kayo ng bahay. Turuan ko kayong mag — tumutulong nga tayo sa mga NPA na mga g***** ‘yan, kayo pa,” he said.
