Duterte still most trusted PH official — Pulse Asia
President Rodrigo Duterte remains to be the most trusted among the five highest officials of country though his rating slightly dropped, the latest survey of Pulse Asia showed.
Based on Pulse Asia’s “Ulat ng Bayan” survey conducted from September 25 to October 1, Duterte is trusted by 86% of Filipinos, five percentage points lower from the whopping 91% trust rating he snagged in July, shorty after assuming his post on June 30.
Duterte got the highest trust from the people of Mindanao (96%) followed by the people from Visayas (86%), Luzon (82%) and National Capital Region (81%).
Vice President Leni Robredo, meanwhile, is trusted by 65% of Filipinos, up by three percentage points from the July survey.
Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel, got 55% trust rating, a moderate increase from 50% in July, while House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez got the biggest leap (17 points) to 41% from only 24% in July.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Mari Lourdes Sereno, meanwhile enjoys the trust of 44% of Filipinos from 35% in July.
The survey also showed that 86% of Filipinos approve Duterte’s performance, while 3% disapprove, and 11% were undecided.
Robredo’s performance is approved by 66% of FIlipinos, while 9% disapprove and 24% were undecided.
Pimentel got 61% approval rating, followed by Sereno (46%) and Alvarez (43%).
The survey was done on 1,200 respondents and has a ± 3% margin of error.
