Duterte tags Ilocano, Ilonggo soldiers as the best: Don’t give their mothers birth pills

Jun 10, 2017 @ 12:05

President Rodrigo Duterte believes that Ilocano and Ilonggo soldiers are the deadliest of the bunch and he thinks they should multiply more to ensure that the military continue to have good stock.

In contrast, Duterte said soldiers who come from the Visayas regions, including Cebuanos, were lazy and loves to drink palm winem

To make sure that there would be more Ilocanos and Ilonggos for recruitment, Duterte said he ordered the local city government not to give birth control pills in their areas.

Pati ‘yung Ilonggo. Walang pills pills. Sige, panganak kayo kay [kapag dako na?] sundalo,” said Duterte in jest.
