End of the world? Kim Jong Un will wipe life on Earth if he goes nuts – Duterte

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un should realize that he will be responsible for wiping life off the Earth “if his mind goes out of control,” President Rodrigo Duterte said.
“That is why we are persuading him, maybe pleading him to stop the aggressive posture,” Duterte said on Monday (Nov. 13) during the bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“It is not to the interest of North Korea to swagger around and threaten the world, of keeping us hostage with the atomic weapons,” Duterte said, assuring Abe the Philippines’ full support for Japan’s actions against North Korea.
Abe also raised North Korea’s nuclear and missile issues at the 20th ASEAN-Japan meeting, calling it “a grave and imminent threat that we have never experience.”
“We need to make North Korea change their policy by enhancing the pressure apply to North Korea to the highest level by all available means including the full implementation of the [UN] Security Council’s resolutions,” Abe said.
The UN’s most powerful body has repeatedly condemned North Korea’s missile tests, which Kim had repeatedly ignored as he vowed to complete his country’s nuclear weapons program.
Japan and North Korea’s already-strained relationship is being tested further as Pyongyang continues testing missiles, with the socialist state launching a missile in Japanese airspace last September.
