Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar has lost a considerable amount of weight after cutting two things from his diet — rice and sugar.

Rep. Emmeline Villar, Mark’s wife, was beaming with pride while sharing the before and after photos of the Cabinet Secretary on Instagram.

“So proud of my husband who has lost a whopping 17 lbs! Here are the before and after photos. He just cut down on rice and he quit sugar completely….something which I cannot do,” she said.

“His discipline is unbelievable. I would eat chocolates, cakes, rice, all sorts of pastries in front of him and he would not get tempted at all. He has also joined me when I run, practice yoga and pilates. 😍 Macho mo, Love! Crushing on you,” she added.
