For teaching loud and clear: 3,000 QC teachers get lapel mics
Over 3,000 teachers in Quezon City got their wish after the local government gave them lapel mics to aid in teaching.
Quezon City vice mayor Joy Belmonte distributed the lapel mics to 2,096 elementary and 1,262 junior high school teachers from districts one, three and four on July 14.
Belmonte told the teachers that she just granted their wish since they asked for lapel mics during their consultations.
She said another batch of teachers will receive mics later this year.
Belmonte promised to provide other items on the teachers’ so-called “wish list” such as electric fans and sound systems for the classrooms.
