From fake news peddler to fact-checker? Rappler not fit to be Facebook censor – Mocha
Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson has opposed Facebook’s selection of Rappler to be part of its fact-checking program especially since the online media group has been allegedly involved in fake news.
Uson, who has more than 5 million followers on Facebook, has accused Rappler of posting false information, including accusations President Duterte’s aide Bong Go intervened in the Navy frigate deal, without issuing any erratum when their mistakes were uncovered.
Madami pa yang sablay na talagang hindi nag e-eratum,” she said.
