Gary warns Bebot: Your day will come, Speaker

Mar 17, 2017 @ 18:59

Magdalo party-list Rep. Gary Alejano believes that House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez will get his comeuppance one day especially if he continues disrespecting his colleagues.

Alejano, in an interview on Unang Hirit Friday (March 17), highlighted the “negativity” that Alvarez has supposedly created in the 17th Congress, particularly with his strong-arming tactics in passing the controversial death penalty restoration bill.

Earlier, Alvarez threatened to replace fellow House leaders who choose not to support the approval of the measure. He kept his word.

Iyan ay coalition for convenience.

The party-list solon was the one who filed an impeachment complaint against Alvarez’s President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday (March 16).

The sharp-tongued Speaker described the move as “pure and simple stupidity,” which Alejano took exception to.

If there is one thing for sure…power is fleeting…here today, gone the next…I wish that comeuppance does come sooner.
