Gatchalian attends federalism seminar: Hindi bastos version
Senator Sherwin Gatchalian is getting some insights about federalism 101 without the lewd song and dance popularized by a Palace communication official.
“Studying ‘pe-de-ralismo’… Yon hindi bastos version,” Gatchalian captioned his snap attending the conference on “Comparative Practices in Fiscal Federalism.”
The recent federalism forum, held in Makati City, was organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to raise public awareness about the “Bayanihan Constitution” or the draft federal Charter prepared by a committee.
Gatchalian’s comment was an obvious swipe at the controversial “pepederalismo” dance performed by Drew Olivar that was posted by Presidential Communications Operations Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Facebook. The lewd video has sparked outrage from pro-federalism advocates and women activists.
