Gridlock no more? Mark Villar taps Uber to help ease Metro Manila traffic

We’re crossing our fingers that this will work out.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has teamed up with Uber, the San Francisco-based popular online transportion network company, to help address Metro Manila’s daily traffic dilemma.

“Just partnered with Uber to develop the Movement for Manila platform – an application which would consolidate data about traffic patterns and rerouting schemes. #BuildBuildBuild,” Public Works Secretary Mark Villar wrote on Facebook.
