Ground zero: Bongbong visits war-torn Marawi

Dec 7, 2017 @ 16:42

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos is confident that war-ravaged Marawi City will be built back better and stronger.

Marcos paid a visit to ground zero and tried to boost the morale of the local community, weeks after President Duterte declared the end of the terror siege launched by Islamic State militants.

“I have no doubt that given the courageous and resilient spirit of the Maranaos, they will be able to put back the pieces and make their lives stronger and better than before. We will do it together! #BangonMarawi,” the former senator said in a Facebook post.
