Gulo ‘to! Duterte expects Reds to retaliate after terrrorist tag on NPA

Nov 22, 2017 @ 10:53

President Rodrigo Duterte expects “something to blow up somewhere” following his decision to tag the New People’s Army as a terrorist group.

In a speech in Taguig City Tuesday (November 21), Duterte said he is in a hurry to procure weapons because of the new fight he foresees the soldiers to be in.

“I expect something to blow up anywhere, any time. Gaganti ‘yan. Sigurado ako,” he said.

After conducting peace talks for over a year, Duterte said he no longer cares what the communists think of him.

“I will admit it, pasista ako. So I will categorize you already as a terrorist,” he said.

With the terrorist tag, Duterte said members of the New People’s Army will be charged with crimes for their atrocities and not just rebellion.
