Hagisan na ng hollow block! Mocha slams smart-ass Roque for wanting to lecture DDS

Nov 7, 2017 @ 13:13

The throwing of hollow blocks in Malacañang has begun– only it is Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque who’s at the receiving end of the proverbial brick.

Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Tuesday (November 7) slammed Roque for saying he would like to teach her and the Diehard Duterte Supporters (DDS) about the values of mainstream media.

Uson said she cannot accept that someone would think so lowly of the DDS, whom she credits for catapulting President Rodrigo Duterte to victory in the 2016 elections.

“Matalino ang mga DDS kaya nga nagising na sa katotohanan at hindi na sila bumoto ng TRAPO at EPALITIKO nitong nakaraang eleksyon,” she said in a post on her Facebook page, Mocha Uson Blog.

Uson took a swipe at Roque even without naming him, saying he thought so highly of himself.

“Iba talaga ang tingin ng ilang media at pulitiko sa sarili nila. Sa madaling salita ang taas ng tingin ng ilang tao sa kanilang sarili at kung mang lait ng kapwa ay kala mo sila na ang pinaka matalinong nilalang sa mundong ito,” she said.

Roque on Monday (November 6) said he hopes to teach Uson and DDS about the mainstream media’s values, as well as its watchdog role.

“Isang dahilan kaya naluklok sa kapangyarihan ang mga presidente, I’m explaining this to the DDS (Duterte’s die-hard supporters) ‘no, because the media has exposed yung mga kapalpakan ng nakalipas na administrasyon,” he told reporters at the Palace.

Roque, a former law professor at the University of the Philippines, said he was hoping Uson will take his comments well.

“Bago pa lang naman kami nagkasama ni Asec. You know, I like her, she likes me. I will forever be a law professor and I will forever consider individuals as under my tutelage on important matters. So I hope Asec. Mocha will accept being a student of the spokesperson,” he said.

Uson, however, said she will not allow anyone to “harm” DDS because they were the ones who voted for Duterte.

“Ibig sabihin kung walang DDS hindi tayo makakaranas ng mga good news at tunay na pagbabago sa ating bayan. Ang mga DDS ang mga tunay na sumoporta noon sa Pangulo ng walang bayad at marami pa nga sa kanila ay naglabas ng kanya kanyang pera,” she said.

Uson said she is willing to lose her post defending the DDS.

“Matanggal na ako sa pwesto pero ipaglalaban ko ang mga tunay na may pagmamahal sa bayan,” she said.
