Mar 18, 2017 @ 16:43

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has returned nearly 200 vehicles to the victims of the “rent-sangla” scam.

Aguirre noted that of the 300 vehicles recovered by the NBI, “177 have been returned to their owners while 123 vehicles are still in custody.”

“Beyond prosecuting the perpetrators is the restoration of the stolen vehicles to their rightful owners,” said the Secretary.

“We want to ensure that we set a good example in bringing justice to all the victims of common crimes,” Aguirre said.

Aguirre hs already ordered the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to place on its lookout bulletin three rent-sangla suspects, namely Ana Borlon, Lea Rosales, and Rafaela Anunciacion.
