I volunteer! Bertiz asks House ethics panel to probe his NAIA scandal
Embattled ACTS OFW party-list Rep. John Bertiz is willing to undergo an ethics investigation following his controversial behavior at the airport last weekend.
Bertiz has filed a resolution asking the the House ethics panel to initiate an investigation into the September 29 incident involving the airport security personnel and himself.
The administration lawmaker has drawn flak from various groups for his alleged abuse of authority when he reportedly skipped airport security checks and harassed a member of the airport personnel. He has apologized for the incident, blaming his bad temper on his “monthly period.”
