JV Ejercito questions Jeremy Marquez’s HUDCC appointment: Susme!

Aug 15, 2017 @ 12:34

How did a former barangay captain get a plum post at the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC)?

Senator JV Ejercito has sneered at the appointment of actor-turned-politiko Jeremy Marquez, saying his stint as barangay captain of BF “Homes” might have secured the position as HUDCC deputy secretary general.

“Former barangay captain of BF “HOMES” newly appointed Housing Urban Planning & Development Coordinating Council Deputy Sec Gen. Susme!” Ejercito tweeted.

“Kasi BF ‘Homes’ naman ang barangay so pwede na rin ‘housing agency’ si Kapitan. Haha!” he added.

Jeremy, son of actor Joey Marquez, is the latest pro-Duterte celebrity-turned-politiko to join the government.

He previously served as barangay captain in BF Homes in Parañaque City for three terms. He lost in the 2016 mayoralty race in Parañaque.
