Ka Eduardo corruption scandal not over, says expelled INC minister Isaias Samson

Isaias Samson, the Iglesia Ni Cristo Minister who was detained and expelled by the sect’s leaders, say the scandal hounding the leadership of Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo is far from over.

In a statement issued by his lawyer, Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles, Samson said: “The crisis brought about by corrupt practices in the said Church, is not over. Not by a long shot. Mr. Samson seeks justice, not only for the illegal detention of himself, and his family, but the treatment of ministers and members whose sole intention is to ensure the integrity of the people who manage the Church’s affairs.”

(Disclosure: Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles is publisher of Politiko)

“This is not a schism. This is not a doctrinal issue. This is an issue of the frailty and in some instances criminal behavior of persons, whom we will later identify in the appropriate cases. His trust in God remains,” said Samson.

Samson said he would  speak through his lawyers, Angeles and ‎ Atty. G. Ahmed G. Paglinawan, due to the continued threat on hiis life and his family.

Samson escaped from the clutches of his captors on 23 July 2015, after being detained for over a week. ‎ He and his family have been expelled for exposing the alleged corruption and harassment of Ka Eduardo and his inner circle.

Angeles said that Samson “will not be silenced…his devotion to God and his faith are unshaken. “

“This is an issue of the frailty and in some instances criminal behavior
of persons, whom we will later identify in the appropriate cases.” — This is a statement of a person who knows INc so well. If he is worried for his and his family’s life, there is no reason to doubt it. This INc cult is indeed one evil cult. Their filth is now exploding right into their faces. Politicians who suck with them to win votes are equally evil. Let’s not vote for them.

expelled INC minister Isaias Samson was the greatest shadow who showed me light and encouraged me to join INC on 1997 through their TV Programs, he host back then, till i was baptised in Calamba, Laguna from the Local of Cataquiz, San Pedro, Laguna… i was then expelled years later… after my inattendance… i hope this issues be resolved fair and just for all… GOD BE WITH US ALWAYS…

Isias Samson is admirable for his courage to expose institutionalized corruption in a religious institution. He knows the risks against his and family’s life but took a courageous stand. I hope the members of INC submit to open-mindedness and reason rather than to fear and blind obedience. Illegal detention and threat to life violate human freedom. DOJ should not be intimidated — even as many TRAPOS (traditional politician worth the stinky wipe cloth) play “sipsip” to get votes from a church that never knew and recognized and respected “separation of church and state” by dictating to its members who to vote.
