Kiko Pangilinan on Duterte’s bloody drug war: Stop the massacre of the poor
Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan has deplored the bloody drug raids in Bulacan and Manila, saying the killing spree was not the solution to the country’s drug problem.
Pangilinan, in a Facebook post, said it was unjust that poor drug suspects are being slaughtered by authorities while huge shabu shipment slipped past the Bureau of Customs.
“Hindi ito makatarungan. Hindi araw-araw na patayan ng mahihirap ang solusyon,” he said.
“Tutulan ang masaker ng mahihirap. Itrato bilang health issue at problema din ng kahirapan at hindi lang problema ng kapulisan ang drug addiction,” he said.
