Laban lang, Aika: Robredo bares desperate, ‘vicious’ move to block daughter’s road to Harvard

May 7, 2017 @ 16:55

Opponents of Vice President Leni Robredo have apparently jumped from the gutter to the sewer in their relentless bid to bring down her down and her family.

In an open forum at St. Theresa’s College Saturday, Robredo revealed her critics have attempted to spoil her daughter Aika’s dream of studying at Harvard University.

Robredo said one of her critics wrote the school management claiming that she could not afford to send Aika to Harvard with her modest income and that she used ill-gotten wealth that her family amassed from corruption and illegal drugs.

“She showed me a screen shot of a letter to Harvard University from my detractors. She’s leaving June 18, because she has to start June 26. On the grounds na sinabi nila was iyong tuition daw kasi ay mahal,” said Robredo.

And you know the viciousness. But you can readily see kung sino iyong may nakaw na yaman,”” she added.

Robredo said these charges were unfair not only because they were baseless but because Aika was going to Harvard on a scholarship or on her own talents.

“You know, how much hatred iyong pinasok doon… you know the viciousness, nakapasok iyong mga bata without any help from me.
