Late na, sinolo pa! Gordon cuts off colleagues in Senate hearing
Not only did he delay the proceedings for nearly an hour, but Sen. Richard Gordon also turned a Senate hearing into his personal show on Wednesday.
Gordon, who chairs the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, monopolized the questioning of resource persons at the hearing.
The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee is looking into the entry of P6.4-billion in illegal drugs into the country.
While Gordon as chairman set the hearing to start at 9 a.m., the hearing could not start until he arrived at nearly 10 a.m.
Upon arriving, he proceeded to monopolize the questioning, not letting up even after noon.
