Lips are sealed. What’s so private and confidential about Japan’s prime minister’s visit?
Private and confidential.
This is what President Duterte’s take is about the upcoming visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who will be coming to the country next month (January, 2016).
“It is official because he is a Prime Minister. We were given permission while we were in Japan, but it was passed on to me as a private-confidential matter,” he said in an interview with PTV 4.
“He was interested in helping us, in the investments but most of all, he wanted to visit my place, Davao City,” Duterte said. “That’s easy to solve, its not a riddle since Davao City has the biggest number of Japanese descendent Filipinos,” he said.
