LOOK: Astig! Robin Padilla joins Duterte in Marawi visit
Action star Robin Padilla joined President Rodrigo Duterte in his sixth visit to Marawi City Monday (October 2) since the fighting began between terrorists and soldiers.
Official photos of the visit showed Padilla flashing Duterte’s signature fist pose alongside soldiers in the battlefield.
He also grinned while Duterte spoke before the military.
According to a press release from the Presidential Communications Office, Padilla joined Duterte in Marawi “to provide entertainment to the soldiers.”
The President was in Marawi City for the inauguration of the Bahay Pag-asa project at Barangay Bito Buadi Itowa intended for the internally displaced residents of the city.
During the visit, Duterte watched troops from the Joint Task Force Marawi build the bamboo houses.
The fighting in Marawi has been going on for almost four months starting May. The military said it is close to defeating the Maute group and its allies.
