LP senators fed up with Duterte’s attempts linking ‘yellows’ to ouster plot
Liberal Party senators on Friday criticized President Rodrigo Duterte for continually insisting that the party has a plan to destabilize his government.
The President on Thursday urged his political opponents, like the Liberal Party and the communist group, to band together and form a single group since they are one in criticizing him.
Francis Pangilinan, LP president.
Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon said the administration should be open to criticisms and use these to improve governance and not consider them as destabilization moves.
“The administration needs to learn to take criticisms as these can also help improve ways of running the country,” Drilon said.
Sen. Bam Aquino said top government officials should stop floating news about destabilization as the Armed Force of the Philippines (AFP) already declared that it has monitored no moves to oust President Duterte from his post.
