Mabango pa rin! Pulse Asia gives 86% trust, approval ratings for Duterte
Despite all the controversies, Filipinos seem to like what they’re seeing so far in the three-month-old administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
This, after the firebrand President garnered lofty scores of 86 percent on both trust and approval ratings.
Independent pollster Pulse Asia conducted its survey from September 25 to October 1 on some 1,200 adult respondents.
Three percent of the respondents told Pulse Asia that they disapproved of Duterte’s performance while another three percent said that they had “small or no trust” in the Chief Executive.
Not surprisingly, Duterte, a former Davao City mayor, received the highest approval rating in Mindanao with 93 percent.
This was followed by Visayas (88 percent), Balance Luzon (84 percent), and National Capital Region (80 percent).
Some 11 percent of those surveyed were undecided on both the questions of approval and trust.
