May araw rin kayo! Nancy Binay vows cops will account for minors who died in drug war

Aug 19, 2017 @ 21:50

The rogue cops who killed minors while carrying out President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs will have their day in the Senate, Senator Nancy Binay has vowed.

Binay expressed her outrage following the death of 17-year-old Kian Loyd Delos Santos at the hands of policemen from Caloocan City on August 16.

She noted that Delos Santos was by no means the only minor who has been killed because of the war on drugs.

“We in the Senate will act on this. To the rogue cops, you will have your day in the Senate investigations, you will all br made accountable for murder,” Binay said.

The senator expressed alarm at how children have become “collateral damage” in the war on drugs.

“Hindi na po katanggap-tanggap na sabihing isang isolated case lang ito,” she said.
