President Rodrigo Duterte has cut short his trip to Jordan by a day to return to the Philippines, Malacañang announced.
Spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said that Duterte will fly back to Davao on Friday since he will no longer have activities after his meeting with the Filipino community at 7 p.m. (Philippine time).
The chief executive is expected to arrive at the Davao International Airport at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Duterte, the first Philippine president to visit the Hashemite Kingdom, is currently in Jordan for a three-day official visit at the invitation of King Abdullah II.
