Na naman! Delos Santos calls for probe on latest DAPECOL death
Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Benjamin Delos Santos is prodding law enforcement agencies to get to the bottom of the murder of a Davao Prison and Penal Colony (DAPECOL) employee–the second since February this year.
“I call on my former comarades-in-arms in the law enforcement community to stop the senseless killings in Tagum,” said the retired police official in a statement.
Accountant James Taping Davide who was shot dead on Easter Sunday (April 16). He was the second DAPECOL worker to be killed since the murder of prison guard Kabungsuan Makilala last February 6.
Makilala was slain after squealing of the alleged irregularities taking place at the DAPECOL.
Delos Santos said that he has already sent BuCor Deputy Director Rene Orbe to Tagum City to provide assistance to Davide’s family.
