Napapansin rin! Majority of Pinoys appreciate Koko- Pulse Asia
Majority of Filipinos appreciate the work of Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III as Senate President, according to Pulse Asia’s third quarter survey.
Results of the poll released Friday (October 13) showed 55 percent appreciate Pimentel while 52 percent trust him.
The Senate President’s current ratings, however, represent a decline from the 62 percent approval rating and 58 percent trust rating he recorded in June.
Across regions, appreciation for Pimentel is highest in Mindanao at 65 percent; followed by Metro Manila, 56 percent; Visayas, 55 percent; and Luzon at 50 percent.
Class ABC has the highest appreciation for Pimentel at 58 percent, while 56 percent of those in Class E appreciate him. Fifty-five percent of Filipinos in Class D approve of his work.
Pulse Asia’s survey was conducted between September 24 to 30.
Among the events which dominated the headlines during the survey period of September 24 to 30 were the Senate investigation into the P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China, the sacking of the Caloocan police force following the death of youngsters Carl Angelo Arnaiz and Reynaldo de Guzman, the commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the proclamation of martial law, and President Rodrigo Duterte’s threat to investigate the Office of the Ombudsman after it was announced that the anti-graft body was looking into his wealth.
