Nasaan ang mga ka-DDS? Mocha Uson, Bong Go fail to make it to Pulse Asia’s ‘Magic 12’
President Rodrigo Duterte may still be popular among Filipinos, but his rockstar appeal isn’t rubbing off on personalities close to him.
A recent Pulse Asia survey on the 2019 elections showed Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go are nowhere near the “Magic 12” list of winning senatorial candidates if the elections were held today.
The survey, conducted between March 23 to 28 showed Go in 36th place in a list with 58 contenders. He was ranked 28th to 38th place, with barely 6 percent of respondents voting him for senator.
Uson, meanwhile, fared much worse as number 50 on the list, with a rank between 40th to 56th place.
Despite having a Facebook page with over 5 million followers, only 1.3 percent of respondents said they will vote for Uson.
Both Go and Uson are included in PDP-Laban’s initial list of prospective senatorial candidates, though they are both coy about their senatorial plans.
