Nilangaw! PNP says only 4,500 attend Jimmy Bondoc, Mocha Uson ‘palit-bise’ rally
Millions of Filipinos may be supportive of President Rodrigo Duterte, but only a few, it seems, are angry enough at Vice President Leni Robredo to join a protest.
Initial data from the Philippine National Police showed the “Palit Bise” rally at Luneta Grandstand on Sunday (April 2) was an epic fail in terms of attendance.
As of 6 p.m., the PNP’s National Capital Region Police Office put the crowd at the rally at more or less 4,500 persons.
The protest started at around 4 p.m. and will last until 12 midnight of April 3.
“Palit Bise” was organized by a group of Duterte supporters led by Jimmy Bondoc, Mocha Uson and lawyer Bruce Rivera.
They also happen to be vocal critics of Robredo.
Rivera is part of a group which will be filing an impeachment complaint against the Vice President when Congress resumes sessions in May.
