No PNP casualty in Parojinog drug raid? Hindi makatotohanan — Kiko Pangilinan
Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is suspicious about the pre-dawn raid that resulted in a huge death toll of drug suspects while policemen were left unscathed in Ozamiz City.
Pangilinan raised questions about the reasons behind the issuance of arrest warrants at past 2 a.m. as well as the disabling of the close circuit television cameras prior to the anti-drug operation.
“All 15 suspected drug lords at the scene of the crime and their ‘armed to the teeth’ bodyguards are killed. No injuries or casualties on the side of the PNP. Hindi makatotohanan,” the senator wrote on Facebook.
Ozamiz Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, his wife and several others were killed in a police shootout during the early morning drug raid.
