Palaban kasi! Duterte admits Mocha Uson goes overboard

In his speech before the Filipino community in Israel, President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday admitted that some actions of Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson went overboard.
Uson had been under fire for her controversial video on federalism that showed her co-host Drew Olivar chanting,“I-pepe, i-pepe, i-dede, i-dede, i-pepe-pepe-pepederalimso!” and pointing to his crotch and chest.
“Si Mocha maraming kalaban. Marami siyang kalaban. Well, I don’t know. Sabi ko just… Alam mo ganito yan eh. There are things na tingin ko medyo nasobrahan,” Duterte said on Monday.
The President however said Mocha, just like others, has the right to freedom of expression.
“But just the same, as a president who is sworn to take the constitution and enforce it, it is covered by freedom of expression,” he said.
“Kung ano ang gusto niyang sabihin, ke ma empleyado siya ng opisina ko o sa labas as a private citizen, that is not really my concern, as long as it is covered sa proviso ng Constitution: freedom of expression.”
Uson supported Duterte’s presidential bid in 2016. She was first designated to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.
