Palace insists Duterte not in Israel for treatment: Punong-puno nga ang sked!

Malacanang on Tuesday denied reports that President Rodrigo Duterte is seeking medical treatment in Israel.
Duterte is currently in Israel for a four-day visit. He will then head to Jordan on September 5.
“Well, nakikita ninyo naman si Presidente ‘no. Nakikita ninyo naman ang schedule, medyo busy iyong ating schedule. Ngayong araw na ito whole day na naman siya. Mayroong pag-uusap sa Presidente ng Israel, tapos mamayang hapon ay mayroong visit with the counterpart of the diamond… you know, movement… the Red Diamond Movement, and then mamaya ay mayroon pa ring isang schedule,” spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. said.
There is no reason for Duterte to travel to Israel for medical reasons, said Roque.
He explained that all activities of the chief executive in Israel are held in the afternoon “to enable him to have sufficient time to rest.” he explained.
This, he added, also allows the delegation, including the media, to “see some of the Holy Land.”
Concerns about Duterte’s state of health have been grabbing headlines these days. Earlier, communist leader Jose Maria Sison claimed that the President was gravely ill, citing his darkening skin and shaking hands.
