Maliit na bagay! Palace: Concerns on Duterte’s health ‘not serious’

President Rodrigo Duterte’s health condition is nothing serious, according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Jr.
“Whatever the President has is not serious for the constitutional provision to apply. So, we leave it at that, okay,” Roque said in a press briefing on Tuesday.
Asked to respond to Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo’s remark that Duterte is cancer-free, the official said “That’s a very difficult predicament for me. I am not in a position to say that.”
Roque reiterated under the Constitution, the President would only be required to disclose the status of his health if he has a serious illness.
“I think the decision was the President will comply with the constitutional provision, that unless he has a serious illness he wants to treat his medical condition as being private and covered by confidentiality. And I’m sorry I am privy to information on his health,” he added.
